about

second Graverobbers album. As with all Graverobbers releases, it's a mixture of rock and roll and country music, and a little bit of jazz, but this time it's much more rock and roll than any other Graverobbers album. We were irritated by reviews for the first album that didn't seem to think we were a rock and roll band, so this album was a conscious attempt to counter that view. it didn't work.
A week before the sessions, Karl found out he would be playing all the guitar parts. From this point forward, Karl took "lead guitar" more seriously. Some would argue, too seriously.

Straub basically uses two approaches when he writes lyrics— storytelling and impressionism.
